RacingJunk.com®'s "Give Back To The Racers Tour 2007" Comes to a Close and the Top 3 Sponsorships are Awarded
<> RacingJunk.com®, announced last Friday, at the Performance Racing Industry Show in Orlando Florida, the top prize winners of its $55,000 "Give Back To The Racers Tour 2007". This completes the contest that has been running on RacingJunk.com since March 1, 2007.
The three finalists were all flown to Orlando, FL, all expenses paid by RacingJunk.com®, for the Performance Racing Industry Show which ran December 6th through the 8th. When they arrived at the show they knew they were one of three top vote-getters as determined by RacingJunk.com members but still had yet to learn if they had won $2,500, $7,500 or the grand prize of $15,000.
The winners were awarded by Cruz Pedregon, NHRA Funny Car Champion, and included Gail Whisnant of Newton, NC, grand prize winner, Gene Hinders of Hudson, IA, second place winner and Mary Baltzell of Rancho Mirage, CA, third place winner. Gail walked away with a $15,000 sponsorship, Gene took the $7,500 sponsorship and Mary rounded out the top three taking home the $2,500 sponsorship.
