The seed was planted in Vito Antonicelli’s mind in the early 1990s. The Lancaster resident was attending the Empire Nationals at New York International Raceway Park when it occurred to him that someday he might like to own and promote a race track. That dream became a reality Feb. 22, when he purchased NYIRP.
